Google announced that brands could manage their Search brand profile (story, visuals, videos and offerings) from Merchant Center, in addition to Google Business Profile. Availability was described as coming soon globally.
Announced at Google Marketing Live on May 21, 2025. Brand Profiles began appearing in Merchant Center Next for select accounts in September 2025 (see separate entry).
