Certification attribute replaced energy efficiency class attributes for EU-targeted products

For products targeting EU countries, the certification [certification] attribute replaced the energy efficiency class attributes so both rescaled and non-rescaled EU energy labels can be shown. The older attributes remain valid for Norway, Switzerland and the UK.

Announced in the 2025 product data specification update on April 8, 2025. The product data specification notes that starting April 2025, products required to show graphical energy efficiency labels in the EU should use [certification].
