Automatic shipping updates launched in Merchant Center using tracking data and StoreBot crawling

Merchants can opt in to automatic shipping updates, which refine delivery-time estimates using historical tracking data from linked partner accounts, StoreBot crawling or data submitted via the Merchant API. The feature is off by default and initially limited to the US.

Enabled from the Automatic improvements (later Automations) page or by linking a partner account. Google notes updates can take hours to days to take effect depending on data volume; merchants outside the US may voluntarily participate.
