Google Ads data collection to rely solely on the ad_storage consent signal from June 15

From June 15, 2026 Google Ads checks only the ad_storage consent setting rather than also depending on linked Google Analytics Google Signals settings. Analytics continues to use Google Signals independently.

Advertisers should verify Consent Mode update calls fire correctly and that ad_storage reflects real user choices; accounts that had Google Signals disabled may see more Ads-linked data once ad_storage is granted.
