Generative video enhancements and animated image enhancements expanded across Demand Gen and App campaigns

Google added campaign-level video enhancements that crop or generatively extend videos into square and vertical formats, and image enhancements that add text overlays, new aspect ratios and animation, enabled by default for new Demand Gen and App campaign ads.

Part of a four-feature holiday update with brand suitability controls and asset uplift experiments. Google reported 20% more conversions or value on average for Demand Gen advertisers in H1 2025 across 100+ launches.
