Business Agent can now be switched on from the Google & YouTube app in Shopify

Google added Shopify as a third way to enable Business Agent, its AI shopping assistant. Merchants open the Google & YouTube app in the Shopify admin and use the Business Agent recommendation card; the app imports the logo, brand colors and support contact details automatically.

Setup was previously limited to Merchant Center (Marketing > Business Agent > Customize) or the brand profile on Google Search. Until a merchant completes customization, customers see a standard Google-branded version of Business Agent.
