Starting February 20, 2025, up to two RSA headlines can serve in the space previously reserved for sitelinks when predicted to improve performance, and Google AI may omit description lines when doing so improves engagement. Pinned assets still respect their positions. Global, all languages.
This builds on the earlier change allowing a headline to appear at the start of the description line. Google cited internal January 2025 data showing higher engagement with text ads. Advertisers should review headline assets since any of the 15 headlines may now render as a link.
